Before you get too far down the road of learning how to start a blog, deciding everything your blog is going to do, and what it’s going to look like, you need to answer one simple question: Why?
Some basics:
- What’s the absolute best part of your day?
- Do you have any hobbies or hobbies that you want to learn?
- What's an interest or dream from your childhood that you find exciting?
- What is a deeply held value of yours?
What to Blog About?
- Why do you care about the topic you’re blogging about?
- Why should other people listen to what you’re saying?
- Why is this a topic that you can add value to?
What is Niche
Niche is more than just a topic. It’s the approach you’re going to take, the audience you want to go after, and the way you’re going to talk to them and position yourself as an expert.
A niche doesn’t have to be your passion . But it does have to be an interest of yours. The best niches are exciting enough that you’ll be motivated to continually post about it, and accessible enough that you can build an audience.
